Kjerstin is an experienced and award-winning educator.. In addition to being a teaching fellow at UCLA, Kjerstin additionally refined her teaching skills during her postdoctoral fellowship with the multidisciplinary teaching team of the Stanford University Thinking Matters Program. In 2019 she was awarded the Deans Award for Outstanding Teaching in the College of Liberal arts, at the University of Nevada - Reno.
